Stan State Stockton is San Joaquin County's only public higher education institution beyond community college.

We offer upper division courses that earn full academic credit and lead to selected baccalaureate and master's degrees and credentials. His case study, “Practice-Based Faculty Development at a University Branch Campus: The Stockton Survey and Stockton Talks,” examines how locally grounded initiatives can strengthen faculty engagement, encourage collaboration and build a vibrant academic community at Stanislaus State’s Stockton Campus.

Through the Stockton Survey and Stockton Talks, the article demonstrates how meaningful faculty development can grow from sustained, practice-based activities woven into everyday academic life.
