Join us for our upcoming NAMI Peer-to-Peer class! This program is a free and confidential educational program designed for adults living with mental health conditions. This course provides a supportive space to learn about mental health, build resilience, and develop skills to enhance overall well-being.

This 8-week course is led by trained individuals with lived experience who understand the challenges of managing mental health conditions. Participants will gain practical knowledge about recovery, coping strategies, and how to advocate for themselves, all in a safe and supportive environment.

A brief description of our classes/trainings:
πŸ’š Peer-to-Peer: 8-session educational program for adults with mental health conditions who want to better understand themselves and their recovery journey
πŸ’š Family-to-Family: 8-session course for those supporting their loved ones with a mental health condition. Taught by trained volunteer family members, the program helps loved ones understand diagnoses, learn effective communication and coping skills, and find essential community resources
πŸ’š Provider Education: Staff development program that helps health care and public agency professionals understand mental illness from the lived perspectives of patients and families. Taught by teams with personal experience in mental health, it aims to reduce stigma and promote collaborative, empathetic care
πŸ’š Family-to-Family Training: Interested in becoming a facilitator? Now’s your chance to get trained to guide participants through a structured curriculum to build coping skills, advocate for loved ones, and foster mutual support with care and understanding.
**Also looking for Spanish Speakers to create and lead a F2F course for the Spanish speaking community
