Please join us on June 27th for our annual Alumni business meeting and get together, which will include a complimentary lunch and tour of the campus. While the event is free of charge, you are required to RSVP so please check out the flyer. Classes 78 through 1985 are special guests, so if you are looking to host a quick mini reunion at our event for your class, please be sure to RSVP!

It is with sadness that we post about the loss of our beloved Addie Suguitan. Addie was loved by everyone who knew her. Her gentle smile and quick laugh were a blessing, and she had such a big heart and love for Edison and our Alumni Association, but most of all, you could see the love and pride Addie had in her husband, Mel and their 3 children, their spouses, and her grandchildren. Addie was an integral member of the Hall of Fame Committee and the All Class Reunion Committee and was always quick to help out with our Alumni events. She will be greatly missed by all and will have a special place in our hearts. Her Celebration of Life is this Saturday, May 9th, at her home church, Trinity Presbyterian, at 1002 W. Eighth Street. Our deepest sympathies go out to all her family and friends.

We send deepest condolences to the family of Peter James “PJ” Gahub, Class of 1998, one of our Association’s former Board members. PJ loved Edison and had an excitement in wanting to help the students. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. Funeral arrangements are below. Rest in Peace, PJ.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR SIZZLER FUNDRAISER! We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Sizzler and all of our Viking Family Members who enjoyed their Sizzler meal and helped us raise money for our student project funding. Special shout out to Jerry Ruiz for spearheading this event. Everyone gave a big thumbs up to the delicious Sizzler sandwiches!

Your Alumni Association President, Ray Harris, was pleased to deliver a $500 donation on behalf of the Association to Edison’s Health Center to help purchase supplies the students need. Your donations and our fundraising dollars are being put to good use! We love our Viking Family!
