Our sister, Shirley Kwong (Vice President of Finance) had the amazing opportunity to represent the Iota Gamma Chapter at the Alpha Phi Leadership Institution!! Here are a few words from her:
It was such a fun experience meeting sisters from all over the U.S. and Canada! Over the course of 3 days, we developed skills of leading with intent, communicating our vision, and creating an immersive culture. I learned what it means to be a proactive leader and the importance of aligning personal values with organizations. I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and proud to be a part of Alpha Phi. I can’t wait to see how everyone in Iota Gamma creates their legacy as leaders and continually grow our chapter. ❤️

Alpha Phi would like to thank everyone who helped out with the recruitment process, and a special thank you to Gia Chong Photography for capturing our bid day!

As members of Pacific Alpha Phi, we must stand with our sisters and individuals of color during this time. In no way, shape, or form do we tolerate any form of hate, racism, or discrimination.
Alpha Phi’s motto, “Union hand in hand” calls for our sisters to stand together against the inequality and systematic racism against those who are judged, harmed, or killed due to the color of their skin. Alpha Phi members are expected to embrace our global community with good will, respect, and kindness. We remain committed to embracing diversity and inclusion.
To our black sisters, loved ones, and community members, we see you & stand in solidarity with you in the fight for change.
