Our after school educators look forward to another year full of interactive learning and bonding opportunities with students throughout Lincoln Unified! Yesterday at the Brookside Farmhouse, our after school program staff gathered for a special presentation from Julia Gabor, founder of the youth empowerment organization kid-grit. Julia shared her life story with Lincoln staff to demonstrate the importance of social emotional learning and of relating to students so they can feel included and welcome at school regardless of their personal circumstances.
