Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸 As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we wish our community a wonderful day spent with loved ones. Whether you’re enjoying a backyard barbecue, cheering at a local parade, or watching fireworks light up the sky, we hope you have a safe and memorable Independence Day!

Students in Professor Zoya Laskowski’s ARTS 77: Branding and Identity Systems course earned a Gold Award in the Horizon Interactive Awards for their augmented reality campaign created for Groundstack Coffee, a local Stockton business.

The award-winning Halloween and Christmas campaigns, created by Pacific graphic design students, transformed coffee packaging into interactive experiences, allowing customers to scan QR codes and unlock animated content through augmented reality. The project showcases how our students combine creativity, technology, and hands-on learning to solve real-world design challenges.

Today, we honor Juneteenth as a time to reflect on our shared history, celebrate freedom, and deepen our understanding of the ongoing pursuit of equity and justice. Through learning and reflection, we continue to grow together as a community.
