Apply today to become a Summer Residential Leadership Intern (SRLI)! Handshake ID #6071771)

SRLIs will have an amazing opportunity to gain leadership skills, community build, and to receive a room and board scholarship over the summer while gaining hands-on experience in customer service and other valuable work-life skills in various departments on campus. SRLIs will foster a sense of community as a peer educator, mentor, and will be the main point of contact for students and guests all summer long!

‼️Join our team‼️ We are excited to announce our department is hiring students for a Digital Content and Student Engagement Assistant position! Apply on Handshake ID #5894304.

The Digital Content and Student Engagement Assistant works with the Office of Student Engagement & Transition Programs team to help plan and support department programming as well as creates, manages, implements, and evaluates social media marketing for all Student Engagement & Transition Programs initiatives and events, including: New Student Orientation, Weeks of Welcome, Pacific Fridays Spirit Campaign, Pacific+, and other high-profile campus-wide student events. 

Time Commitment:
Approx. 10-15 hours/week
Compensation is $16/hr; All majors are welcome to apply!

New Student Orientation is happening On-Campus this Friday January 14th! Access the Orientation Schedule here: https://linktr.ee/uoporientation

Check your Pacific Email for the Latest Updates and Orientation Notices!

Items You Will Need to Bring With You to Orientation:
* Wear a Mask
* Your Student ID Number for COVID Testing
* IMPORTANT: Please bring a laptop and charger with you to Orientation. This is key to your being able to register for your Spring 2022 classes
* Water Bottle to Stay Hydrated!

A Few Reminders:

REQUIRED COVID-19 Testing the Morning of Orientation from 7am-8:45am:
* Please bring your Student ID Number with you prior to testing, they will ask for it in order to get tested on site.

* If you test positive for COVID, you should take the necessary measures to quarantine immediately. Email orientation .edu that you will not be able to participate in Orientation activities, and our will provide you with your next steps.

Masks at Orientation:
* Please bring and wear a mask with you throughout Orientation. Cloth masks will not be accepted during Orientation, but we will provide a CDC approved mask on site for all students attending Orientation.

Advising & Registration at Orientation:
* Your registration for your Spring 2022 classes will happen the day of Orientation.

Consider registering for our 2-unit course, Serv 57 (Foundations of Helping Relationships) in Spring 2022! This class introduces contemporary methodologies and processes that are essential aspects of leadership in navigating the unique challenges of the twenty-first century. It’s a great development opportunity if you’re looking to become a student leader on campus or if you’re already involved in various ways; this course gives students an opportunity to focus on their own character development, reflection, individual effectiveness, and self-assessment to be effective and responsible leaders in a dynamic and diverse college environment.
