✨ Last night we kicked off our first session of the Peer Mentor Network! ✨

We paired our 1st- and 2nd-year hybrid students to foster meaningful connections, strengthen leadership skills, and support one another on the journey to becoming future social workers.

With over 30 students participating, this is our largest group yet—and we’re just getting started! 💜

Welcome 2026 Hybrid Cohort!!

✨ Today we welcomed our largest orientation yet with 49 incoming hybrid students! ✨
We had so many new students that we had to split the cohort photo into three posts—swipe to see the full group ➡️

…and engaging presentations from our faculty on social work coursework.

We’re already counting down to the first day of classes for this cohort on Wednesday, August 27!

As social workers, we often pour into others before pouring into ourselves. Today, we had the honor of welcoming Henry Garcia and MSW alum Jeanette Mann (‘23) to lead our students in a powerful meditation workshop centered on healing and happiness.

Through guided techniques and exercises, we explored ways to release stress, restore calm, and reconnect with ourselves — a much-needed reminder that self-care is not a luxury, but a necessity. 💛🧘‍♀️
