👟Shoes are OPTIONAL outside! I don’t force the kids to wear shoes outside in the summer. They certainly can if they choose too, but most of the time we’re in the water and I barely wear shoes myself. I believe in grounding and nature… Plus, my home is theirs when they are here!

Spent my morning doing a training for licensing and continuing education for new rules! I got the opportunity to meet other providers and have open discussions. I enjoyed listening to others stories and experiences! There are so many layers to daycare than just caring for children. Always learning something new. ☕️🌟

And also, I called my husband Dylan on the way home and he said he disinfected all the toys in the dirty toy bin… 🙌! A good start to our Saturday!

Today we did a used book exchange where each child brought a wrapped book from their book collection at home and got to open a new one from a friend. It was like Christmas here! The kids enjoyed this very much. 📚❤️

HELP! I am thinking about planning a backyard “drive-in” movie party for the kids while parent’s have a date night out. Was thinking a Friday or Saturday night it July (maybe 5-9pm). It would be a low cost event to cover the cost of food and fun. The kids would make their own cardboard car for the movie and I might have a bounce house too. This way parents can drop their kids off and go on a date night!

Would you bring your kids? What date would be best?
