What is The Hendrickson Method?
The Hendrickson Method is an advanced system of orthopedic massage and manual therapy that effectively treats acute and chronic pain, and eliminates soft tissue disorders. It is a gentle, pain-free orthopedic modality that involves rhythmic wave-like strokes, joint mobilization, and muscle energy techniques. This method is not painful to receive for the client, nor is it physically demanding for the therapist like most traditional massage and manual therapy techniques. Soft Tissue Mobilization unwinds tight muscles, tendons, and ligaments but it also realigns soft tissue into its optimal position of function it has healing effects that pe*****te deep within the body and create long-term effects far beyond what is normally possible with a traditional massage.

Certified Hendrickson Method Therapists Nikki Rae and Rashelle Youngdell, who have over 30 years of combined experience as LMTs will lead you through some fundamental techniques that deliver superb clinical results for individuals in pain, using an exceptionally comfortable therapy.

I started my Hendrickson Method path in 2006.
I attend the 1st class of a series of 9.
That weekend, Tom became my bodywork mentor and still is today !!

Tom had been treating people for 30 yrs or more

Tom's wave mobilisations & softtissuemobilization became the cornerstone of my therapeutic practice.

The gentle joint mobilisations, the transverse soft tissuemobilizations, enable those with lifelong pain, and find a way forward towards a pain-free or pain manageable state.

Tom suggested I had treatment myself to truly understand his work.
I did !! and finally, after lots of searching on my part, I found a method/therapist who knew how to treat my kyphosis!!
