Meet our new Mister American Indian OSU Elijah Grass! His platform is Creating Healthy Behaviors in Native Communities to Prevent Disease. He chose this platform because he believes that practicing healthy behaviors, including healthy diets and physical activity, would be beneficial for those in our Native communities.
“A lot of our relatives are affected by nutrition-related diseases. During my time studying nutrition, I have always concerned myself with learning practices that could be applied to help those within our Indigenous communities. I plan to be involved in serving our communities as Mister American Indian OSU by bringing awareness to the topic of health and nutrition! Aho and Mvto!”
