Congratulations Gwen Reilly!

Reilly was the 1st place winner of the J.B. Edmond Undergraduate Student Paper category at the 2022 Southern Region American Society for Horticultural Science held in New Orleans, Louisiana February 11-13, 2022.

Her topic "Scalable Extraction and Purification of an Anti-Cancer Drug Precursor from Oklahoma Eastern Red Cedar" was a study Reilly conducted while attending the 2021 Urban Horticulture Research/Extension Experience for Undergraduates (REEU) with Dr. Niels Maness as her mentor.

The REEU summer concludes Friday with students presenting their research and extension projects. All the students did an excellent job presenting. Here’s the top three presentations.
