As part of a partnership with Fishing For All, students enjoyed a field trip to fish at the St. Croix River after many classroom lessons. Our Dean of Students, Ms. McGill, even got in on the action!. Thanks to Fishing For All for a great year of learning - we had a blast.

ALC students helped celebrate the retirement of school nurse Paula Tymesen by showering her with love in the form of May Day bouquets, cards, and heartfelt thank-you notes. Enjoy your retirement, Paula - we will miss you!

Recently, we held a "test drive event" where students got to learn about budgeting and experience a simulation to practice spending wisely given a variety of career choices. Students thought the experience was really insightful and shared it was hard to balance all of their needs based on their career salary. Real life learning that helps prepare students for life!

ALC students wrapped up the 3rd quarter cooking class by making a meal of chicken parmesan for their teachers. Teachers report was that it was DELICIOUS = A+
