Congratulations to Julie Childers, academic coordinator in Oklahoma CareerTech’s Counseling and Career Development division, on receiving the High Road Leadership Award at the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration Summer Leadership Conference!
Nominated by her peers, Julie was recognized for her willingness to share her knowledge, offer guidance, and support colleagues across counseling, federal programs, student accounting, and beyond. She is often the person others turn to when they need help, insight or encouragement.
During the conference, leadership expert John Maxwell described a high road leader as someone who wants the best for others and actively helps them become their best. Courtney Duke is making an impact in her community while continuing to grow as a leader.
As Executive Director of Youth Services of Bryan County, Courtney turned to Kiamichi Tech’s Certified Human Resources Manager program to strengthen her skills and grow in her role.
