CareerTech Testing Center

The CareerTech Testing Center (CTTC) is a service of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education. Since 1985, CTTC has been providing standards and assessments for career and technology education programs. CTTC also partners with numerous state agencies to develop and deliver examinations required for certifications and licensures.

When should students take competency tests?

A: Ideally, students should be tested as soon as they have completed training, covered all standards listed in
the assessment blueprint, and passed all skills performance evaluations. We do not recommend waiting until
the end of the year to test if students are ready to test earlier.

We are represented at the NRS Spring Conference for our division of OKACTE NRS - CIA (Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment)!!!

The Oklahoma CareerTech system began issuing digital badges utilizing the Credly platform in December 2022. Digital Badges will be issued using information entered into the “Real-Time” certification section of the CTIMS system. ⚠️ Service Update: Reporting Issues ⚠️

We want to let our test sites know that we are aware of a few technical glitches currently affecting our reporting tools. Our testing platform company has issued a Yellow Alert and is working hard on a fix.

The following features are currently impacted:

Single Coaching Reports: Errors occurring during PDF downloads. As a work around, you have a couple of options:

1. You can still pull multiples through your admin account and unzip them.
2. You can view in the browser and use the browsers File/Print function.

We appreciate your patience while they get a solution deployed! We’ll post another update as soon as a solution is live.

With more than 150 certification assessments, over 50 test sites, and flexible proctoring options, CTTC is helping Oklahomans build brighter futures every day.

Now celebrating 41 years of service, CTTC continues to expand its impact. The center recently partnered with the Oklahoma State Department of Health to create a streamlined and accessible pathway for future healthcare leaders to earn certification for Long Term Care Administrator Licensing Program.
