Stillwater Early Learning Education is a state supported early childhood program for all families in Minnesota with young children birth to age five. Class fee is based on a sliding fee schedule. Each family pays according to their income. No family is turned away due to the inability to pay the class fee.

We're only TWO days away from our annual Big Trucks event! Please join us at the ECFC from 9-11 am on Saturday for a FREE community event!

The parking lot will be full of the trucks for families to explore, so plan on street parking. There will be handicap parking available for those that need it.

Threeschool and Preschool started this week! We loved welcoming all the little learners into our classrooms!
Our goal in the first few weeks of school is to help students feel safe and welcome at school. It is a time to build friendships, practice routines and learn how to use classroom materials. It's so fun to see the students already feeling comfortable with their peers and teachers!

Each year every Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Program in the state of MN is asked to do a community needs survey to assess how well we are meeting the needs of the families in our community. The information gathered through this process will help guide our future program offerings.

Sara Erickson, one of the ECFE Parent Educators was awarded the Emerging Leader Award through Minnesota Association of Family and Early Education (MNAFEE) at their big conference in April. Beyond Sara's role as a Parent Educator with ECFE in Stillwater, she also supports the U of MN Parent and Family Education Program. Sara is a phenomenal educator who shows up everyday with wisdom, a sense of humor, and authentic care for the families she works with.

Many of the classes at the ECFC have been raising caterpillars the last few weeks. The children have been watching them the caterpillars as they made their chrysalis and then eventually emerged as butterflies! Some of the butterflies were released at the Spring Family Fair!
