Fire Protection Society

The Society also provides students with some much needed down time from the rigorous curriculum of the FPST program.

The Fire Protection Society provides students with opportunities in public service, academic and professional development and social interaction with other students in the Fire Protection and Safety Program. The Fire Protection Society is not only an organization that helps develop high morals in the members, but it is also there to aid Fire Protection and Safety Technology, OSU Environmental Health and Safety and Oklahoma State Fire Service Training when called upon.

To eliminate all rumors. The Pike Firehouse Fever T-shirt will have the FPS logo on the shirt. This will not be an smaller or larger then the Pike letters. The logo on the front of the shirt is undecided on. We are having a meeting with Stillwater Fire Department tomorrow to ask if they would be interested in being a sponsor of the event. We have many things to speak with SFD about. The event planning is going well. We will be having a dorm room burn on April 11th (location to be determined). April 12th there will be a pizza eating competition against all of the sororities on campus. Then April 13th will be the challenge day. These last two days events will be for the sororities on campus. They will also be collecting donations in boots around campus. The ALF will be located in front of Edmond Low Library for the week and a tent with information on the event. April 13th will also be the day of the final event. As of this moment is will be a concert with Ryan Reid Band. There will be a presentation on the say day for the money that was raised and the sorority that won the whole event.
