Our Landscape Architecture students are heading back to Oklahoma after five days of professional engagement, educational sessions, meeting with our alumni, and sketching/exploring Washington, DC. They are already talking about next year’s trip to the ASLA national convention in New Orleans.

Our OSU Landscape Architecture students have enjoyed checking out the ASLA Conference Expo, talking to venders and manufacturers. Of course, everyone had to check out the playground vendor displays on the expo floor.

Congratulations to Melanie Monbrod, an OSU Landscape Architecture senior! On Saturday, October 5th, she was inducted in Washington, DC, by the Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) as a 2024 Olmsted University Scholar. The LAF Olmsted Scholars Program recognizes students with exceptional leadership potential who use their ideas, influence, communication, service, and leadership to advance sustainable design and foster human and societal benefits.
