SCMS provides a summer camp experience for both its children and to children outside of our school. SCMS offers a unique experience for the whole family by nurturing the importance of community which for many of us is becoming more difficult to find. It is a community in which you will find like-minded families and the possibility of life-long friendships.

Places like this don't happen on their own. They are built with generosity, encouragement, and the belief of a community.

Today we celebrated more than the start of a building, we celebrated the beginning of a place where young people will grow into thoughtful, capable individuals who care for the land, their community, and their future.

Thank you to our Board of Trustees, Junior High Task Force, dedicated staff, families, and Tooth and Nail Builders for believing in this vision and helping make it a reality.

Our kindergarteners took their first ride down the elementary zipline as part of our Transition Ceremony in May. A meaningful moment marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next.

With Children's House behind them and elementary ahead, they stepped forward with confidence, courage, and plenty of excitement.
