Middle School of Piedmont students traveled to Enid High School to participate in Oklahoma FCCLA Competitive Events today. Our FCCLA students swept the competition, placing 1st or 2nd in every category entered! These students will move on to compete again at Regionals. Way to go, Wildcats!

Through their local Oklahoma FCCLA chapter, Foundations of Fashion & Apparel Design students at Union HS organized a crazy sock sale during Race for the Cure this year, with each sale benefitting the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Camryn Maddoux, Oklahoma FCCLA Vice President of Parliamentary Law presented at the Governors Highway Safety Association annual meeting on the FCCLA Families Acting for Community Traffic Safety (FACTS) National Program.
The focus of this session was Rural Road Safety. Only 19% of the US population lives in rural areas, but over 80% of traffic deaths occur on rural roads.

Thank you John Marshall High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students for your 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance today! State Supt. Joy Hofmeister visited with students and their teacher, Chef Carrie Snyder-Renfro, as they were preparing new clothing and care items for foster children across Oklahoma at Citizens Caring for Children. We applaud these students and their work with Oklahoma FCCLA, an Oklahoma CareerTech student organization.
Our FCCLA Culinary and Early Childhood Education students learned a lot at today's Oklahoma FCCLA LEAD Conference in Enid!
