🌎✈️Happy International Education Week!

🥳In order to celebrate the best week of the year, we will be hosting events, highlighting special study abroad programs and we’ll also be celebrating our inbound exchange students and US students preparing to go abroad!

🤝IEW is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of The US Department of State and The US Department of Education is part of an effort to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

✈️WANT TO HELP A POKE GET A PASSPORT?🌎 Passports for Pokes is now accepting donations!

In collaboration with the OSU Foundation's PhilanthroPete program, the OSU Study Abroad office wants to help provide more students with the opportunity to obtain their first US passport!

With your generous donations, we hope to fully fund 30 OSU students for their passports to aid them on their study abroad journey and future international travel opportunities!

Thailand offers a vibrant culture and a diverse landscape. It is also one of the fastest growing emerging markets in the region!

Congratulations to the Study Abroad Research Symposium winners!🥳

Thank you to everyone who attended the Study Abroad Research Symposium hosted in collaboration with the OSU Honors College. The symposium invited students who've previously studied abroad to present their global research projects, in relation to the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)

Winning presentations:
🥇1st Place: Jordan Burks- Her project explored the 2nd SDG 'Zero Hunger' in Berlin, Germany

🥈2nd place: Kaela Byers- Her project explored the 3rd SDG 'Good Health and Well-Being' in Mexico

🥉3rd place: Phoenix Hollenbeck- His project explored the 3rd SDG 'Good Health and Well-Being' in Mexico

This faculty-led program will be held at the well-respected Regents University, located within Regents Park in North London.

Coursework will be supplemented by visits to business, organizations, and universities such as ISN, Oxford, Radley's, BMW - MINI Cooper Factory, and more!

There will also be an opportunity to do some sight-seeing into London's most iconic sites such as the Tower of London!

Join Dr. Laurielle Prema and on the Summer '23 faculty-led program to Paris, France!

The deadline to apply for this program is February 17th, 2023!

The program will allow you to explore the great gastronomic capital of Paris to learn about French history and culture that intersects directly with its approach to food.

There will be tours of iconic attractions such as the Louvre, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Latin Quarter, Eiffel Tower and more!

You will also travel one day into the countryside to tour the Champagne region and its vineyards near the Cathédrale de Reims, where French kings were coronated for centuries.
