What a wonderful first week of preschool at the ECDC! 💙✏️🍎 Our classrooms have been filled with new friends, big smiles, curious minds, and lots of little adventures. From learning classroom routines to exploring, playing, and getting to know our teachers, our students have had a fantastic start to the new school year!

We are so proud of our little learners and grateful to our families for entrusting us with their precious children. We can already tell that this is going to be a wonderful year of learning, growing, and making memories together! 🥰

📚✨ Getting Ready for a New School Year! ✨📚

Last week was a busy and exciting one at the ECDC as we prepared for the start of a brand-new school year! Our teachers enjoyed time bonding as a team, participating in professional development, and even putting their Staff Handbook knowledge to the test with a fun Kahoot quiz! 🎉📝

We also enjoyed a fun scavenger hunt, shared lots of yummy food and snacks, and most importantly, gathered together for Mass with Fr. Lawrence. ✝️❤️ What a beautiful way to begin our year by placing our school, our staff, and our children in God's hands!

Our Open House/Meet the Teacher Night was also a wonderful success! We were so happy to see so many of our ECDC families and have the opportunity to welcome everyone back for another year of learning, growing, and making memories together. 🏫🍎

To our parents, thank you for continuing to entrust us with your precious children. It is a privilege and a blessing to be part of their lives each day. We are excited for all that God has in store for our ECDC family this year!

☀️ Summer at the ECDC! ☀️

The past couple of weeks have been super busy at the ECDC! Summer went by in a flash, and our final week was filled with fun, laughter, picnics, and lots of special memories. 🧺💛

We made the most of our last days together with fun-filled activities, time with our friends, and a special movie on our very last day—complete with popcorn, of course! 🍿🎬

What a wonderful way to wrap up a beautiful summer! We are so thankful for all the smiles, friendships, adventures, and memories our children made along the way. We are especially grateful for the wonderful families and staff who helped make this summer so special. ❤️

As we begin a new school year, we pray that God continues to bless our children as they learn, grow, and discover the world around them.

We are excited to invite you to our annual Meet the Teacher Night!

Join us for our Open House on Thursday, August 6, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child's teachers, explore the classrooms, and get ready for an exciting school year.

During the evening, we will also hold an important meeting for both new and returning parents with our administrators to share key information about the upcoming school year, including important policies, procedures, and dates.

We highly encourage all families to attend and look forward to seeing you there! As we begin this new school year together, we pray that God blesses each of our students, families, and staff with joy, wisdom, and a year filled with faith, learning, and growth. We can't wait to welcome you into our ECDC family!

Today was Snow Cone Day, the children—and the teachers—had a wonderful time enjoying these refreshing treats together! A heartfelt thank you to Sno-nadoes for making this special day possible.

Moments of joy and fellowship remind us of God's goodness in the simple blessings of everyday life. As it says in Psalm 118:24, "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." We are grateful for the smiles, laughter, and shared memories made today!

Our children had a wonderful time learning with Jazzy the Jersey Cow and Suzie Reece from the Southwest Dairy Farmers Mobile Dairy Classroom! They discovered the important role dairy plays in a healthy diet and enjoyed an exciting live milking demonstration. Watching the milk fill the giant bottle was a highlight of the visit, and everyone had a blast!

As we learn about caring for our bodies, we are reminded that they are gifts from God and that we are called to be good stewards of His creation. We are grateful to Southwest Dairy Farmers for providing such a fun, interactive, and educational experience that helped our children appreciate both healthy living and the many blessings God provides.

Last week we celebrated the week of the young child! Picnics, superhero praise, earth day clean up, and a very special kindness rock garden our students enjoyed all the fun activities!
