Did you know the Honors College has a class about tattoos?🧐

In this honors seminar class, Tattoos as Text, you will explore the history, art, and meaning of tattoos to understand the significance they hold for different people and cultures.

These pictures were taken during this semester’s field trip to a tattoo shop here in Stillwater. (And yes, Dr. Andrew’s has volunteered to get a tattoo during this trip the last two semesters😎)

Honors hosted 125 students from across the state to explore Lake McMurtry, learn about environmental science, and find ways to protect and promote our world. Hope to have all these amazing students back for Envirothon in the spring!

Join us for Pizza with a Prof THIS THURSDAY, with Dr. Shawn Rose as we explore the concept of authority within video games. Collaboratively, the audience will play through short portions of video games while exploring the psychological implications that authority can have on the experience.

Our first Thoma Scholars Cohort at OSU is up and running🤩

Last night the Thoma Scholars met with Breanna Gallagher, from Career Services. She walked them through the interpretations of their Strength Assessment results and had them reflect on their strengths and talents. They were also joined by Dr. Russell Miller and Dr. Kambra Bolch from the Thoma Foundation, who from day one have shown their support and involvement in the success of this program. We look forward to meeting with Carl and Marilynn Thoma on October 1st on campus!
