Student Support Services at OSU

Student Support Services Students involved in SSS will receive free on-campus services, from academic advising to personal mentoring.

Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally funded program that allows selected educational institutions or agencies to provide fundamental support to students at the college level. Our goal at Student Support Services is to increase the retention and graduation rates for our OSU students.

Looking for ways to stay connected with TRIO SSS over summer break? Each Tuesday, starting tomorrow (May 12th), you can find us hanging out on campus and playing volleyball! All TRIO program participants are welcomed, and feel free to bring a friend too! We’ll start at 6PM and end around 8PM. Worried about the summer heat? We have sunscreen on hand, and Central Market Place has a nice patio with lots of shade. Bring water and a snack—and get ready to have fun under the sun!

For this months spotlight, SSS would like to recognize Mason Lee for his accomplishments. Mason is studying psychology and sociology and has been accepted into a graduate program. Additionally, Mason is the president and founder of the Sports Psychology Club! Outside of academics, Mason loves traveling, spending time with family and friends, and attending basketball and football games. Through all these achievements, Mason continues to demonstrate leadership, dedication, and passion for helping others.

We are so proud of you Mason! We know you’ll go on to do great things! Stay orange and bright!
