Fellow Oklahoma 4-H Parents and Volunteers, I am the Garvin County 4-H Program Assistant. Garvin County has been named one of 15 NATIONAL finalists in the Grinnell Mutual Insurance Fairgrounds Facelift competition. As of now we are 2nd place. First Place is $3000. We are in the hunt for the $3000. I am asking for your help, it only takes a moment and it is so well worth the time, knowing that you gave valuable educational opportunities to 4-H members here. Please find the links that will take you to the voting sight. ANY VOTES we can get are greatly appreciated!!! Thank you in advance.

We are looking for a teen leader from every county in our great state of Oklahoma to be part of this wonderful project to gather donations for tornado/flood victims. If you know of a 4-H family affected by the recent tragic weather or the impending weather, please let us know. We are gathering donations to get to those families and others who need emergency supplies. If you would like to take the lead for your county, please let us know and you can also find more information on the Custer County 4-H Recreation Club page. All four 4-H districts are represented, but we would like to have a teen leader represent and take the lead from each county. You will also need to coordinate with your county educator to use the extension office as a drop off site. We will make arrangements to pick up any donations and get them to the counties in need.
