This weeks class was about the Plant Life Cycle!
See comments for our Life Cycle Sheet, Nature Walk Guide & Germination in Bag Project!
We learned what each step was and drew in the box what that step was! Loved seeing all of the creativity in their journals!
Our take home project was seeds in a zip loc bag to watch it grow and document the steps!
Next week is WILD FLOWERS!!
I am super excited for this class and our craft!

Week 2 of Nature School!
Theme this week was Spring Pond Study!
We played in the creek, hunted for frogs and explored all around the creek.
We found a tiny frog, a leopard frog (2 dead and 1 alive) played in the moss. Finished our hike with lunch and drawing the frogs we saw, and played duck, duck, goose & running games to finish wearing all the kids out!
It was windy but warmed up quickly and ended up being a gorgeous day!

We had such a fun 1st day back to nature school! It was overcast and chilly but once we got started the sun came out and we all warmed up!
The theme today was NESTING BIRDS!
We spotted SEVERAL male cardinals and talked about the difference's between male/female and how they are different colors. We spot nests and found items for our nesting bottle containers.
Played in the creek, found dead frogs, soaked up the sunshine and wrote in our nature journals.
