The 4th & 5th grade have been reviewing wetland ecosystems, and this afternoon they took a short trip to observe a wetland marsh ecosystem next door to the school.
They observed signs of both plant & animal life in the marsh & concluded it is a healthy habitat!

Today, our Law Day Contest winners were invited to attend Judge Corley’s Honor Docket at the Payne County Courthouse to celebrate placing in their respective competitions in the OBA Law Day Contest this spring.

We may be testing in the mornings, but we are still learning in the afternoons! After finishing their testing for today, the 4th & 5th graders continued their science unit on plants by making their own terrariums. We can’t wait to watch them start to grow in a few days.

Our 3rd-11th grade students are testing all week this week. Here are some tips for parents of our testers, to help make sure they do their best.

What a day to learn about science & the handiwork of God!
Students & faculty enjoyed spending time outside today to safely view the eclipse.

This year, 1,650 students from 66 towns and more than 120 schools and homeschool groups entered the Law Day Contest. We received more entries this year than in 2023, with an impressive number of entries from counties outside the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas.

Congratulations to our OBA Law Day Contest Winners. Today they were recognized at the Oklahoma State Capitol for their outstanding work, receiving their awards from Oklahoma Supreme Court Chief Justice M. John Kane IV. Great job Amie & Davyn!
