We are sad to say our beloved garden cat, Cowboy Kitty, passed away this week. Cowboy has been a part of TBG for over 10 years- bringing joy to visitors, staff, and students. Some of his favorite things to do included getting pets from visitors, patrolling the gardens, following along with tour groups, and lazily sunbathing.

Once the weather allows, we will plant a memorial tree for Cowboy at The Garden and invite the public to join us in remembering Cowboy Kitty. More details about the tree planting will be posted at a future date.

Please share your favorite Cowboy stories in the comments and send us your favorite Cowboy Kitty picture through FB Messenger.
