It's Christmas in July, and Santa even showed up with a few elves! This was our last Wacky Wednesday, but it was a great way to wrap up our summer fun.

The carpentry program allows students to specialize in training to become a finish carpenter or a frame carpenter.

🔨 Finish carpenters build custom carpentry pieces such as cabinets, counters, shelves and other fixtures for homes, office spaces, hotels, stores and restaurants.

🔨 Frame carpenters work on all aspects of construction from exterior work to interior detailing.

The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program at Meridian specializes in the design and installation of home and business heating and cooling systems.

We offer two areas of specialization:

Machining is on the rise across the state and in the Meridian district.

Using blueprints and custom schematics, students learn how to create, design and manufacture the tools and components for a wide variety of production needs.

Empowering students to succeed.

Recently the LPN program had a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE nurse) visit. They also got hands-on with Doppler equipment to learn about prenatal care.

The end of the school year brings many changes.

We have two retiring instructors, Cheryl Cottom, Biomedical Sciences Instructor
and Michelle Moore, Digital Media Instructor. We want to wish you good luck on this new adventure and are so appreciative for the many students’ lives you impacted during your time at Meridian.

We are also saying goodbye to Kenny McGuire, a custodian on our staff for 41 years. Kenny has dedicated decades of his time to Meridian to maintaining our campus so our students, faculty, staff and guests have a clean environment to learn and work! He has spent countless nights, weekends and holidays performing security checks on campus. Thank you for the time you gave to Meridian and our students!

We also must bid farewell to one of our board members, Gary Johnson. After 27 years of dedicated service to Meridian, he is stepping down from his position on our school board. He has been instrumental in the development of school policies, served as a decision maker on educational issues and helped pioneer expansions of Meridian's facilities. Thank you for all you have done for Meridian!

Abigail Burton is using the skills she learned in FFA to cultivate a bright future in the health sector.

Sowing Seeds of Success in The Health Field - Meridian Tech Abigail Burton, a Stillwater FFA student in Meridian’s Health Careers program, was named the 2023 Oklahoma State Star in Agriscience.

Collision Repair students were awarded gift cards to NAPA Auto Parts for their success in State SkillsUSA contests. Local business owners presented the students with the gift cards, the three men are alumni of the Collision Repair Program.

Evening Cosmetology student, Carson Edwards, was awarded a scholarship from Great Clips to continue her education.

This scholarship is available to students nationwide and requires an essay, application and interview. This is the first time in several years that Great Clips has awarded the scholarship to a student in Oklahoma.
