Meet us at the garden for the Nature Walk on Saturday, April 9 from 10 am to 1 pm. Activities include a scavenger hunt, poem in your pocket, snacks, lawn games, face painting, watercolor painting, dog petting area, and so much more! In one-on-one conferences, consultants help de-mystify the complex process of writing. As informed readers, consultants work with writers of all experience levels at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming and planning to final drafts. Clients are welcome to bring any type of writing, including term papers, resumes, dissertations, as well as creative pieces. Instead of simply proofreading or editing, the Writing Center will provide tools which enable clients to revise, edit, and proofread their own work.
In addition to one-on-one consultations with our trained writing consultants, the Writing Center also provides the following services free of charge to all members of the OSU community:
