Congratulations to Tim Taylor!
Congratulations to Cameron Dale, the 2024-2025 NAAE President-Elect.
Cameron Dale teaches agriculture at Bartlesville High School in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was elected as the NAAE Region II Vice President at the 2021 NAAE Convention after serving as the NAAE Region II Secretary.
After receiving her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in agricultural education from Oklahoma State University, Cameron began teaching in Elgin, Oklahoma. She has taught for a total of 12 years. After five years of teaching at Elgin High School, she taught at Newcastle High School for two years before she moved to her current position in Bartlesville.
Linking real-life experiences to student learning is the foundation of her instruction. As an agricultural education teacher, she appreciates the opportunity to teach her students through hands-on methods that relate to real-life situations.
Cameron has been involved in the leadership of NAAE and the Oklahoma Agricultural Education Teachers Association for several years. In OAETA, she is the social media manager. She has served as the secretary of the OAETA Competition and Awards committee and chairman of the Oklahoma STAR Grant committee. At the national level, she served as the secretary for the Policy and Bylaws committee. Cameron has received several awards in agricultural education, including the 2017 Region II Ideas Unlimited award, the 2017 Region II Outstanding Young Member award, and was a 2016 Teachers Turn the Key scholarship recipient. She was also the Oklahoma ACTE Young Teacher of the Year in 2017.
She currently resides in Collinsville, Oklahoma with her husband, Rob. They have three dogs, Ries, Malibu, and Sir.
Hey ag teacher, thank you.
Today and every day, we celebrate YOU and the dedication and passion you have for teaching agriculture. We can't thank you enough for the important role you play in cultivating the next generation of problem solvers, leaders, entrepreneurs, agriculturalists and, of course, agricultural educators.
Your determination, grit, passion, and service to others is an inspiration to everyone around you. We hope you'll take time today to reflect on the tremendous impact you make and the lives that you've changed forever.
Happy National Day! Let the celebrations begin!
A big congrats to our Oklahoma winners!
Golf Tournament next week!!
Tonight was our annual new teacher dinner to
Kick off the school year. Thank you to ONEOK and Ferguson College of Agriculture for making tonight happen!
More than 45 Oklahoma Ag Educators traveled to the Southwest Area earlier this week for 2 days packed with industry tours, networking opportunities, and AgEd Teacher-led workshops during the 2024 OAETA Summer PD Conference.
Tours included the Wichita National Wildlife Refuge and their Temple Gradin designed bison management facility, Cimmaron Trailers’ manufacturing facility, SS Farms (chili peppers among other many crops), and Krehbiel Farms (row crops and center pivot irrigation systems). This is in addition to tours and workshops presented at area AgEd facilities (Carnegie, Lawton, Chickasha, and Hinton).
Special thanks to our AgEd program host sites, workshop presenters, OAETA STAR & PD committee members, CareerTech Staff, OSU AECL Department Staff, and our participating teachers for making this year’s conference a success.

If you know a pre-service ag teacher who would be the perfect National ambassador, make sure to tag them or share this with them! Great opportunity to get involved with NAAE and network with those in the profession before student teaching!
Passionate about agricultural education? We're looking for the nation’s most outstanding agricultural education majors to represent the profession as National Ambassadors! Applications are due July 1, 2024. ➡️ https://bit.ly/4bFgHZH
Another successful professional development workshop that many Oklahoma ag teachers took advantage of!
Thank you to all of the teachers that attended the Oklahoma SAE Symposium! Vanessa had a great time working with you over the past two days!!
🗣 WORKSHOP PRESENTERS NEEDED 🗣
We need 5 more presenters for next week's OAETA Summer PD Conference in the Southwest Area. This is an opportunity for YOU to share a nugget of that time-honored Owl wisdom with some of your peers.
In addition to receiving a certificate of PD hours for attending the conference, if you bring a hands-on activity - there is funding available to reimburse you for your workshop supplies. We plan to have 20-25 people in each workshop session - and right now you'd only need to present for 1 50-minute session.
Our survey showed high interest in non-livestock SAE projects and management, tips and tricks for coaching CDEs (your choice), and ideas for hands-on and engaging classroom/lab lessons.
This is what makes this PD opportunity unique - it is completely organized, presented, and attended by Oklahoma Ag Teachers.
There will be a mix of attendees from around the state and from all levels of career (and life) experience. It's a conference like no other this summer - don't miss out on helping contribute!
(If you think you missed out on showing up as a regular attendee- think again! Just go to tinyurl.com/SummerPD24 to register and OAETA PayPal Portal - tinyurl.com/OAETA24 to pay your fee.)
Hope to see everyone in Carnegie on Tuesday morning as we kick off this year's Summer PD Conference!
Thank you to Mason Jones for hosting the Greenhouse Management Workshop today in Edmond! There were over 50 Oklahoma agriculture teachers in attendance. There was a lot of great collaboration and sharing of ideas and best practices.
