Canada has released its list of U.S.-origin products that will face counter-tariffs of 15%, 25%, or 50% beginning September 8, 2026.

Businesses exporting to Canada should review the listed HS codes to determine whether their products may be affected.

Effective September 8, 2026, Canada will impose 15, 25, and 50 per cent tariffs on products drawn from those targeted by U.S. Section 338 and Section 232 tariffs, with individual product rates based on the matching U.S. rate for the same goods.

Oklahoma is setting itself up to play a major role in the space industry through its new OASIS initiative. State leaders believe that the state's workforce, military heritage, geography, and institutions will set it apart from other states. Major companies have begun investing in cities across Oklahoma, including Lawton, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma is building a space industry hub through aerospace investments, manufacturing growth, hypersonics and satellite technology.

The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association is criticizing President Donald Trump’s plan to allow 300,000 metric tons of tariff‑free imported ground beef into the U.S. for 90 days. Trump argues the move will lower beef prices for consumers, but ranchers say it creates uncertainty during a critical period for herd‑rebuilding decisions.

Producers warn that cheaper imports, which are expected sell at about 25% below current price, could further strain cattle operations already facing drought and rising costs.

A product's Harmonized Tariff Schedule classification can affect the duty you pay, documentation requirements and how your shipment is treated when it enters the United States.

Trade negotiations between the U.S. and Canada fell apart last week. This resulted in a 50% increase in trucks, cars, and auto parts that will begin January 1st, 2027. This tariff would impact everything from vehicle production to local salvage yards.

Currently the US already has 50% tariffs on several Canadian goods. With January a little over 4 months away, there is still a chance for negotiations.
