More incredible things happening for our Education Pathway Stillwater Area High School!!! Last week, students in our CE Intro to the Teaching Profession officially signed up with our partner Century College to earn their credit while learning the ins and outs of teaching or working in fields of study with children.
SAHS students also filled out forms stating what age level they’d prefer to work with for their upcoming Field Experience!
We are diving in and making things happen, all before they graduate.

History in the making!!!
After years of planning, grant writing, asking for donations and guidance, ordering and reordering, hiring and getting everything unpacked and ready to go… our brand Certified Nursing Assitant (CNA) course took flight this week!!!
Our students are so incredibly lucky to work towards and earn their CNA certification right here at Stillwater Area High School. Beth Stadheim is off to an amazing start with her students, and we know they will have an unparalleled experience.
Many special thanks to everyone who made this possible- Rachel Steil for the grant writing, Bob Manning for the networking and donation collection, Brian Steil for ordering ALL THE THINGS, our outstanding custodians for hanging the tracks and curtains the last week of the summer, and Beth for coming in on her limited free time to set this all up. We are so thankful for you!!

Last week, we were able to take a tour of Tartan High School’s facilities for their incredible culinary courses, and WOW- were we impressed.
Teacher Julie Bachmeier showed us the ins and outs that makes their courses thrive. 8 full kitchen stations complete with gas stoves and ovens, complete cooking sets for mixing, chopping, baking- you name it. There’s also a full pantry, laundry, and an overhead camera that connects to numerous screens around the room to showcase what teachers are instructing.

Advanced Foods
Pastry and Baking
Culinary Arts
Advanced Culinary Arts

In addition to their cooking courses, they have fashion and interior design, child development, and family and relationship courses. So much to learn about and research for potential future courses Stillwater Area Public Schools ❤️🖤🤞🤞

Great first day with our Annual Teacher Externship!!! Today, I followed the Downtown Stillwater group, seeing behind the scenes at Forum Private Event Space Lift Bridge Cowork Lora • Boutique Hotel & Event Center Feller Restaurant Darn Knit Anyway and SWANNIES GOLF !!!! Thank you so much for helping us learn about our community and the opportunities for our students!!

What do we do the first Friday of summer??? We clean up and audit supplies for our upcoming CNA course!!!
Very productive morning, now off to cheer on our Stillwater lax teams!!!
