There is another MIJ Rehearsal tonight at 6PM in the Band Room. If you are in town please try to make it to this rehearsal. We are needing to finalize our numbers for the marching drill, if your plans as far as band have changed please reach out and let us know!

There is also going to be a Band Leadership Team meeting at 3PM TODAY in the band room. If you are on the Leadership team or interested in seeing what it is about, join us! See you tonight!

Tonight is our first Monday rehearsal in July! Remember, if you attend all three MIJ rehearsals this summer, there is a reward for you during band camp in August. We will hand out some music, important forms, and schedules for upcoming summer band activities. If you are needing to use a school instrument for the upcoming marching season, arrive a little before 6PM so we can get those assigned and handed out. See you tonight!🐾

BAND PARENTS,

We are getting a jump start on the year and want to let you and your students know of important dates as soon as we can.

Monday, August 17th we will be meeting in the band room to discuss the upcoming year. We will be focusing mostly on topics to do with the HS Band students (fundraising, volunteer opportunities, booster organization, etc.), but encourage any band parents with questions or concerns to come.

We hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July!

Tomorrow, July 6th from 6PM-8PM we will be hosting our HS Band Game Night for 8th-12th grade students! You don’t want to miss this. Be prepared for some friendly competition and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little wet in. We will also have a little ice cream sundae bar to enjoy. It’s going to be a fun night to kick off the year with, so if you are able we will see you there!

With the end of June right around the corner, it’s time to start looking at the BAND SUMMER SCHEDULE☀️🕶️. These are important dates for you to remember. More specific detail about each will be out soon as well, but please make notes of dates that apply to you! We are kicking off our summer schedule with a BAND GAME NIGHT🎯🎮🕹️on July 6! Make plans to be there so we can have some fun as a band family. If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out.
