Kiamichi Tech has played a significant role in the growth of southeast Oklahoma communities since 1968, serving nine full and four partial counties. With a mission to 'Prepare People for Success," Kiamichi Tech meets local workforce needs through full-time career training programs, short-term courses and customized training for businesses. The Kiamichi Tech page was created as a place for updates about our programs and services and stories about our students and communities to be shared. Intermediate Crochet Class

Join us on Tuesday, September 22, at 6:00 p.m. at Kiamichi Tech Stigler Campus for an intermediate-level crochet class.

Cost: Free

This is not a beginner class. Participants should have previous crochet experience and be comfortable working with basic crochet techniques.

In this class, participants will create a Fall Gnome Wall Hanger while learning:

An alternative to the magic circle
Slip stitch
Chain stitch
Single crochet
Half double crochet
Double crochet
Treble crochet
Picots

This pattern incorporates 10 x 10 plastic canvas as part of the design.

Supplies needed:
Three yarn colors for the leaves.
Yarn color for the gnome's hat.
Yarn color for the gnome's nose.
One piece of 10 x 10 plastic canvas.

Participants are responsible for bringing their own supplies.
