This in‑person workshop is designed for individuals who want a clear, practical introduction to starting a small business.

During this session, Small Business Development Center (SBDC) professionals will cover key topics, including:

Legal business structures
Small business tax basics
Best management practices
Basic marketing strategies and market research
How to write a business plan
The importance of financial statements

After the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to connect with an SBDC Business Advisor for additional guidance as they move forward with their business idea. Attendees will also receive a copy of the presentation.

Important: This workshop is offered onsite only and is not available virtually.

Launch your healthcare career with training that prepares you for real-world caregiving roles. This program combines Long-Term Care Nurse Aide Training with 16 hours of Home Health Aide Training, providing a broader skill set and expanded employment opportunities in one comprehensive course.

Dates: September 8 - December 10, 2026
Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Total Instruction: 112 Hours (96 Hours Long-Term Care Nurse Aide Training and 16 Hours Home Health Aide Training)
Cost: $960 per person

Join us for an impactful training focused on understanding domestic violence, supporting survivors, and creating positive change in our communities.

Training Details
Start Time: 9:00 a.m.
Credit Hours: 8 CLEET Training Hours
Mental Health Credit: 2 Hours

Participants will gain valuable knowledge about the dynamics of domestic violence, victim support strategies, available resources, and approaches to fostering safer communities.
