Board Action - July 18th
During the School Board meeting approval was given for a 2% pay increase for the non-certified staff members and several policy revisions, Superintendent Perry discussed with the Board the possibility of purchasing a "mobile computer lab" of 25 laptops to be kept in the elementary. The Tax Rate Hearing was set for August 18 at 5:50pm in the Board Room.

We have had a brand new server installed for our school-wide computer network. We have put a lot of emphasis on improving the available technology for our students. To date, over the last year, we have purchased and installed 27 new computers in our lab, installed new Internet access that will double our capacity, and installed a new server.

The new Internet fiber optic cable installation is almost complete. This will allow our computer system to access the Internet at a much faster and efficient speed. Student research and testing will greatly improve with this new access.
