Band camp is a wrap!

It was a hot week with some less-than-ideal air quality, but this group showed up every day ready to work. Proud of everything the 2026 Marching Lancers accomplished this week and excited to keep building on what we started. We also can't wait to bring our Lady Gaga show to the field this fall. It's going to be a fun year! 🎶

Today at 1 pm! Due to the air quality we will be having our family performance IN the cafeteria. After that, make sure your student collects all their personal belongings. It’s been a great week! Another post coming soon with more pictures from camp 🙂

Marching Band season is officially underway!

Monday kicked off with Student Leaders, Tuesday welcomed our rookies, and today was Rookie Day 2.
Next up: pre-camp days on Thursday and Friday then we head to camp on Sunday! Here's to the start of an incredible season!

For only $55, you will get to choose one suncatcher design! This is the perfect time to get a head start on holiday shopping or keep for yourself!

The Federal Hocking music department supports all musicians across all our bands. This includes concert, jazz, and our amazing marching band! The boosters provide the music, instruments, music stands, etc for every one of these bands, along with all the expenses that come with the marching band.

This event will be November 16 from 2-4pm at Village Production in Amesville. It is the first floor of the former Grange Hall, next to the post office.

We have limited spots, so please get your tickets now to reserve your spot.

Lancer Land! Our first fundraiser of the 2025 - 2026 school year is already here! This Saturday we will be at the Advanced Auto Parts at 955 E State Street in Athens from 9 am until noon!

This is a donation-based Car Wash, meaning you pay whatever you can! We can even take card!

Band Families: Students will be washing cars and holding signs, while parents talk with donors, direct traffic, and collect money. Please bring any old towels, rags, sponges, buckets, etc. Donuts will be provided to students in the morning, and pizza will be provided around 11 am. Water will be available for kids. If you can’t stay for the Car Wash, consider dropping off a poster or two for us to use! If you are attending, you may want to bring a chair for when we aren’t busy.

THANK YOU!!!!

Thanks to our incredible Band Boosters, we were able to take our 8th-12th grade Concert Band students to the Ohio Theater to see the Columbus Symphony Orchestra rehearse their Tchaikovsky program before they perform it this weekend!

Bonus: Our Fed Hock students were so quiet and respectful during the rehearsal that they got compliments from other attendees!!!

What an amazing way to end the week and celebrate our concerts being done!
