We did it preschool class of 2021! Thank you Ms. Karen and Mr. Jacob for an amazing celebration during a really tough year. Thanks to all of our SSCC families for your love and support. We can’t wait to see what Kindergarten brings for our students. 🎓🍎👏

We are celebrating Fall weather, babies and bubbles, and working on our small motor skills this week. We can’t forget that “A” is for apple and counting pieces of an apple helps with our early math skills.

Today is “build a sand castle day”! The rain isn’t going to stop our fun! 🌧💦

Now that Maryland’s economy is starting to reopen, more parents need child care again. But the state drastically reduced the number of children per classroom at licensed child care providers, making it harder for parents to find child care. To meet the need, Maryland’s licensed and registered child care must be allowed to open more widely in Phase 2 according to their existing regulations The health, safety and wellbeing of our children are the highest priorities. Child care providers are following stringent CDC guidelines specifically for child care. Children and parents also want to return to their trusted teachers, programs, friends. Doing so will help ensure continuity during a crisis. Please tell Governor Hogan and our state’s leaders they must ensure enough child care for working parents in Phase 2.
