Big news for Lakeshore - and we’re grateful to our local media for helping us share it.

Thank you to The Herald-Palladium, Moody on the Market and WSJM for covering the Lakeshore Excellence Foundation’s new $750,000 commitment to major projects supporting Lakeshore Public Schools.

Last night, LEF Chairman JC Anderson and LPS Superintendent Greg Eding shared with our Lancer Leaders how these investments will support students and staff through a new Robotics and Professional Development Center, staff professional development, Unified Sports and classroom emergency kits.

The event offered a chance to thank our Lancer Leaders and showcase the next set of major projects their support helps make possible. Lancer Leaders are donors who contribute $1,000 or more annually to the LEF.

We would also like to thank our sponsors - Solarium by Watermark, Tosi's Restaurant, Grande Mere Inn and Bit of Swiss Pastry Shoppe - for making the night so memorable!

These projects reflect what’s possible when a community comes together for its schools. We’re thankful for the supporters who help make this work possible.

🔴 Josh Frazee co-owns The Shore Real Estate Group with his wife, Cassie, and is a proud Lakeshore parent. A lifelong Southwest Michigan resident, Josh believes strong schools build strong communities and brings a heartfelt commitment to supporting students, teachers, and families.

🟡 Chris Mason, a 2008 Lakeshore graduate, is a co-founder of Watermark Brewing Co., Solarium by Watermark, and Depths Society Golf. A Village of Stevensville Trustee and dedicated community fundraiser, Chris is excited to give back to the school system that helped shape him.

Both bring a passion for our community and a commitment to expanding opportunities for Lakeshore Public Schools. We’re grateful to have them on our team!

Golf season will soon come to an end - so make plans to grab a friend and head out to the “Wee” links, while supporting Lakeshore Public Schools at the same time.

This Thursday, participants get the chance to enjoy time at Harbor Shores Golf Course, plus hang out by the fire pits for food and drinks - - all for a great cause!

A night out can make a lasting difference for local students. ✨

Join us for An Evening That Gives Back on Thursday, October 1, from 7–10 PM at The Wee Course at Harbor Shores Golf Course.

Enjoy cocktails, light bites, and golf under the lights while supporting the St. Joseph and Lakeshore Education Foundations. The school district with the most ticket sign-ups receives 60% of the proceeds - so invite your friends, represent Lakeshore, and help bring more resources to our classrooms. ⛳

Tickets are $250 per person. Every ticket supports opportunities that strengthen learning for students, staff, and our community. Special thanks to our sponsors!
