NEW TROPHY CASE FOR ALL YELLOWJACKETS -- This has been a year in the making! Thanks to Trevor Motley who championed this forward. We will commemorating this new trophy case at an upcoming event. Be on the lookout.

Yellowjackets -- We won $5,000 from the TMobile Friday Night Lights Contests. TMobile is giving away $5,000 every Friday to some of the qualified and entered schools in their larger contest. We have entered into the $1,000,000 giveaway to redo our football field and track. We will find out soon if we are a finalist!

YES! -- The art students practiced neurographic art this week. They wrote down a challenge or stressor in their life and then used art to help their nervous system process and destress from their topic of choice.

YES! -- 2nd graders in Mrs. Praast's class are learning from day 1 and creating strong relationships! We love it!

Families -- We've seen a recent uptick in TikTok and Snapchat harassment. I rarely share my own articles on the school's platform, but this hits differently and seems appropriate, "Snapchat will not be the Death of Me!" Please share out to other families and your own children.

Many students do not realize is that even though they are using Snapchat outside of school, if the social implications from the posts affect the school day, educators and administrators can do something about it.
