We are excited to welcome everyone back for a wonderful new school year! Please mark your calendars for these important back-to-school events:

Tuesday, August 18
K-Ready/Kindergarten Orientation – 5:00 PM - Gym
Open House & Ice Cream Social – 6:00 PM
Families are welcome to bring students' school supplies to either of these events. This is a great opportunity to meet teachers, explore classrooms, and get ready for an amazing year together.

Wednesday, August 19
First Day of School!! Remember, it's a Wednesday, so early dismissal at 2:30pm.

We can't wait to see our returning students and welcome our new families. Here's to a fantastic year of learning, growth, and fun!

Our students had an incredible time representing Lone Rock at the Science Olympiad competition in Bozeman this past spring! They worked hard, competed with determination, and showcased the knowledge, teamwork, and problem-solving skills they've been developing all year. Beyond the competition, the experience gave them the chance to learn from other teams, challenge themselves, and create lasting memories. We are so proud of all they accomplished!

A heartfelt thank you to our community for making this incredible experience a reality for our students. Your support means so much to our school and our students!

Remember, Friday, May 29th is an 11:00 dismissal. Additionally, the MPR room will be open that day from 8:15am-12pm, with lost and found items laid out to look over and tables with free books that students can take home for the summer! Any leftover books will go into next year's book swap, and any lost and found items not claimed will be donated.

It’s getting closer!!! MCT’s Hercules comes to Lone Rock from May 11-16th. Auditions are May 11th from 3:30-5:30 in the Gym, and any students in grades K-8 are welcome (including homeschool students!). Practices are from 3:30-5:30 and 5:45-7:45 each day, although practices will depend on the role that children are cast in. After auditions, custom practice schedules will be sent out.
Performances are Saturday, May 16th at 3pm and 5:30pm. We are so excited for this incredible opportunity!
