This morning at our official district kickoff, we had the privilege of recognizing our longstanding employees for their years of service to Lakeshore Public Schools!

These dedicated staff members have given so much of their time, talent, and heart to our students and our district. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment and the difference they make every day.

Thanks to the generous support of the Lakeshore Excellence Foundation, we were able to show our appreciation for these outstanding employees and celebrate their years of service.

Thank you for being part of the Lakeshore family and for all you do!

What a great kickoff to the 2026–2027 school year! Members of Lakeshore High School’s Student Voice organization joined us at this morning’s district-wide staff meeting and shared their thoughts and experiences with our staff.

It was a great opportunity to hear directly from our students and be reminded of the impact we have on them every day. The connections we make, the support we give, and the way we show up for our students truly matter. We’re so glad our students were part of the morning!

Learning Together. Growing Together.

Lakeshore staff spent time today learning with Dr. Anthony Muhammad, a nationally recognized leader in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).

The focus was on what matters most: working together, collaborating as teams, and staying focused on student learning and achievement.

Strong schools are built by people who learn from one another and work toward the same goals. We’re excited to keep building that culture at Lakeshore!

Chromebook Distribution Days (7th and 8th Grade)-
Didn't get to it today? You may still pick up your Chromebook during the following times:
Tuesday, August 25th, 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Wednesday, August 26th, 3:30pm - 5:30pm

Please use the Washington Avenue entrance (White Loop), park by the tennis courts, use Door 9.

Students going into 7th and 8th grade will keep their current device and will have a mandatory $25 insurance to be paid at the time of pickup. If you have any other balances due to the technology department, please be prepared to pay for them when you come to pick up your Chromebook.

What a GREAT first day welcoming our new teachers to Lakeshore!

Our newest team members spent the morning getting to know their colleagues, learning a little more about Lakeshore, making connections with staff from across the district, and, of course, picking out some Lakeshore spirit gear!

We’re so excited to have them joining our team!
