The tour of the Welch Center was really educational and fun. And the tasting afterwards was delicious. We recommend you come give this place a try and buy some terrific local wine.

Good morning, I hope everyone is excited for this weekends events. Please dress in comfy, casual clothing for all the events.

We wanted to remind you of todays 4:30 tour of school and new sports complex. Please meet in front of the entrance to the football stadium on the left side by 430 and after the tour the tailgate following at 5:30.
Hope to see allot of you at the tour. MANY things have changed at Lakeshore since our time there.

Welch Wine & Viticulture Tour: Saturday 12:30
We still have a few spots opened to tour the Welch winery and teaching center Mike Welch and his wife Lisa were lead donor's of of this wonderful teaching center. Mike sadly passed away on Sept 27th 2019 after a long battle with brain cancer shortly after attending the ribbon cutting. What a beautiful legacy of love to leave to Lake Michigan College and the entire community.

Only a few more days until the 40th reunion! Looks like it's going to be a Beautiful Fall Southwest Mi Weekend! We are so exited to welcome you all :) Saturdays dinner venue is is very cool we can't wait to share it with all of you. Don't worry if you did not rsvp for the Tailgate stop on by 5:30 behind the LHS tennis courts. Pizza, snacks and caramel apple sangria's provided. Football game has been moved up to 7:30 stay as long as you want, we have a space reserved from 8:00-10:30 on the right side outdoor patio at Watermark Brewery, it will be a nice fall night to enjoy the firepits!

Looking so forward to seeing everyone in less then two weeks!

All you procrastinators 🙂, It's not to late to join us for Saturday nights Reunion dinner. We have until Monday the 20th to give the caterer our final count. The Venue is wide opened with inside and outside spaces to spread out. There will be a few tables in an outside patio area for anyone immune compromised or who are not comfortable being inside. It's going to be a great casual event. All are welcome!

All of Fridays events will take place outside so please dress accordingly.

Here is the weekends available activities, join in as many as you please:

Friday @ 4:30pm tour the high school and the awesome new field house. Meet outside the front of the main entrance to the football stadium on the left side. At 5:30pm our tailgate will begin. We will be just behind the tennis courts next to the field admin building. (the old bus garage in our day).

***Please*** RSVP to this post if you plan to attend the tailgate/game so we can secure your ticket and plan how much food will be needed.

Please pass the word to fellow classmates That Friday we will be providing food, water and adult signature cocktails. All class of 81 classmates get one free ticket for the game. We will have a reserved seating area for the game at the first section you come to on the home side of stadium.

Following the game at approx 7:00-? join us at Watermark Brewery at any point. We will have a spot reserved for our class. Look for the red and white balloons.

Saturday @ 10:30am Donuts & Coffee at Red Coach Donuts (owned by classmate Bill Bancroft).

Saturday @ 12:30 Tour of the Welch, Wine & Viticulture center at Lake Michigan College, named after our dearly missed classmate Mike Welch. Limited to 20 people. If interested RSVP on this post expressing interest in this event. We will reserve a spot for the first 20 to respond.

Saturday @ 6:00pm happy hour begins at the Watermark Solarium

Dinner is 7:00 to 8:00, for those not attending dinner are welcome after 8pm with $25 to enter to help pay for the venue, entertainment ect.
