Good morning, homeschoolers! I just wanted to hop on and ask you to check in on your child's work. With the new bill that passed, any online work that I am set to monitor (which you gave permission for), it sends me updates automatically. I've noticed many students are not up to pace and are either not working or are behind in their lessons. Please take note of this and check their work.

Toboggans have been donated and we had a $100 donation. Praise His name! Amen!!

I know I ask for a lot, but the school is small and completely operated by donations ONLY. I do NOT get paid one cent for teaching and the students families help keep the school running by their donations and two churches send love offerings to keep the bills paid. We do not have a set tuition rate, rather a tuition donation and the parents pay what the'yre able to pay.
With that being said, any time we have outreach projects we have to seek help from the community.

Our school is going to serve at the Manna House in Huntsville on November 22. We would like to collect some toboggans, gloves, blankets, pop-top canned food items and some snacks. This will go to those less fortunate, those living from their cars, and the homeless community. If you find it in your heart to help, please drop off at the school: 33 County Road 283, Stevenson. If you need us to pick it up, just let me know. Please share so we can get the word out there and get donations.

If any students, along with parents, would like to help at a concert for Josh Baldwin at a church in Birmingham, please send me a text. They contacted me and are looking for students 16 and older. You'll get to work and watch the concert for free. This year they need volunteers to pass out child sponsorship packets during the intermission.
This is November 19th.
This is not a scam, they send us information all the time asking for help for the concerts.

We are collecting can drink tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Next year our high school students will go to the Ronald McDonald House and tour the facility and make a donation of tabs from canned drinks. We will see what other things they offer, as well. We might help them clean or just take a tour. Only time will tell what our calling for that day will be. This trip is in Birmingham.
The profit they make on these can tabs allow families to stay at The Ronald McDonald House close to their children suffering life threatening conditions.

Our next trip is to do some service to others and be the hands and feet of Jesus!
We will go to the Manna House in Huntsville and serve those who are less fortunate.
I hope everyone will put this on their calendars and set aside a day to our service project.
The picture is one of bags that we have stuffed with things one might need. If you can donate food/snacks that will be great! These bags do not have much food, if any at all. We need things with pop-tops or similar things they can easily open. All help and attendance will be greatly appreciated!
