A little comfort can go a long way. 💙

Luthercare for Kids – Annville is collecting blankets for Blankets4Zane, a special initiative created in memory of Zane Witmer. Zane’s family honors his memory by donating blankets to children’s hospitals, where they can provide a little extra comfort to children and families going through difficult moments.

Our goal this year is to collect 1,000 blankets by November 13th! Blankets must be new or unused if homemade, and donations can be dropped off at 40 S. King Street, Annville, PA 17003.

If you’re able to help, one blanket can make a meaningful difference. Thank you for helping us keep Zane’s memory wrapped in kindness. 💙🧸

A little magic made its way to Luthercare for Kids - Reamstown last week! 🪄

The Amazing Magi stopped by to put on a special magic show, filling the room with plenty of excitement, surprises and big reactions. Our young learners had a front-row seat to the fun, and one lucky participant even got to join in on the action up on stage!

With plenty to see and wonder about, it was a fun afternoon that kept everyone watching closely from beginning to end. 🎩

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Tammy Tanczak, our Assistant Center Director at Luthercare for Kids - Annville!

Tammy knew from a young age that she wanted to be a teacher, inspired by her grandmother and her own childhood games of playing school. Today, she loves being part of a team that makes children feel loved, safe and supported while they learn and grow. 🥰

One of her favorite parts of the job? The relationships she builds with the children and their families. And there’s one preschooler who has made it a tradition to greet Tammy with a hug every morning since her very first day. We’d say that’s a pretty great way to start the day! 💕

When she’s not at Luthercare for Kids, Tammy loves traveling and spending time with her husband and children. She’s also a big Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan! 🦅⚾️

We’re so lucky to have you on our team, Tammy! 💙

Scales, smiles, and so much curiosity! 🦎🐍

After an exciting visit to our Annville center earlier this summer, our friends from Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary stopped by our Reamstown center to introduce our children to a variety of fascinating reptiles. From getting an up close look to learning fun facts about each animal, it was a hands on experience that sparked plenty of questions, excitement, and discovery.

Learning comes to life when children can explore the world around them, and this was definitely a day to remember!

🎶 Music has a special way of bringing smiles, sparking creativity, and helping children learn through play!

Last week at Luthercare for Kids - Annville, our classrooms were filled with the sounds of singing, dancing, laughter, and plenty of hands-on fun during our music-themed week. From creating homemade instruments to exploring rhythm and movement, our little learners discovered new ways to express themselves while building confidence, coordination, and friendships along the way.

A highlight of the week was a special visit from Music with Miss Janine, where everyone joined in the fun through interactive songs, movement, and musical exploration. It was a week full of joyful memories, happy hearts, and learning that truly hit all the right notes. 🎵💙
