This Thursday May 2nd at 7:30 PM, YouTube Group is hosting Fright Night in CAC 333. Do you like horror? Do you like animation? Imagine horror animations on the big screen. Celebrating some of the greatest horror animators out there, Fright Night will feature a collection of YouTube short films with a concoction of body horror and existential dread.

Doors open at 7:15 PM for all. Students and faculty are admitted with free entry if the relevant ID is presented and recorded. $5 for entry. Concessions will run from 7:15 until the end of the showing.

Congratulations to current students Sydney Possinger (2024 BFA Acting Major, Arts Management Minor), Mic Frommelt (2024 BFA Acting), Franklin Breit (2024 Professional Communications and Media Studies Major) and Aminee Hoff (2024 Media Studies Major, Business Administration and Women & Gender Studies Minor) on being selected to attend the"Marché du Film" Festival within the Cannes Film Festival in the short film "Reasonable Doubt" by Pico Blvd Entertainment!

They were one of the official selections at Filmapalooza in Lisbon, after participating in the 48 hours film festival "Yes We Cannes". They won Best Acting in a Leading Role (Rainy Armstrong), Best Use of Line, and were nominated for Best Film.
Sydney, Mic, and Frankie are all actors in the film and Aminee is 2nd A.D.!

Congrats to our Pointers and the entire production team, and have a great screening in France!
