“Gung Hay Fat Choy!” Our Storymakers class spent the last few weeks studying and preparing for the Lunar New Year. They made a dragon and lanterns and today danced their own version of a dragon dance, indoor firecrackers and ate a delicious lunch of Chinese take out using chopsticks ending with fortune cookies. All the children received their very own special red envelope with some gold coins.

Santa stopped by our center yesterday, and the kids were beyond excited (well… most of them)! 🎅😁
The children loved listening to The Night Before Christmas, and their smiles were priceless as they took turns visiting with Santa and sharing their hopes for Christmas. ❤️

A big thank-you to Santa for bringing so much joy to our center this holiday season! 🎄

Our 4K group spent the morning visiting downtown Stevens Point as part of our discussion on community and the importance of our local business owners. Ms. Anne, Ms. Leah and the 4K class would like to thank the following businesses for providing such a warm welcome:
Gepetto's Workshop, The Stevens Point Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, Blue Bead & Rock Shop LLC and Bound to Happen Books.
A special thank you also goes out to Lily at Lily & Vine Floral and Gifts. Their weekly donation of flowers and greens to the center have provided so much enjoyment to everyone there.

🎃 Pumpkin Games 2025! 🎃
Our 3K and 4K classes had a blast at the very first Pumpkin Games! From pumpkin songs and spoon races to a pumpkin toss science experiment, Ms. Anne made sure the fun never stopped. Huge thanks to the parents who came out to play, cheer, and celebrate with us! 🧡

The children in Preschool 1 are studying light, shadow and reflection at the moment. Today was shadow show and tell day. Each child had the opportunity to bring an item from home and have their peers guess what they brought to school. Such a fun morning. Can you guess what the children brought in?

Our staff has been working tirelessly over the last few months to design and create a new outdoor classroom for our kids! (Big shout out to Ms. Anne for all of your hard work!) Outdoor classrooms can help children to improve their focus, boost their mental and physical health, encourage creativity, strengthen social skills, encourage real-world learning and problem solving, instill a love of nature, and so much more. Anything you can do in an indoor classroom can be done in an outdoor classroom and we are so excited to get started! Stay tuned for more updates!

Exploring light, shadow, and reflection have become an interest for our preschool 1 classroom. With the help of the sunshine and the big windows the children are having wonderful experiences experimenting with different materials. Learning through play at its finest.

Hello, my name is Bobbie Jo and I manage an adult day service at ODC in Stevens Point, where we support adults with disabilities by working on various skills and community integration! We are having a prom/formal dance for them on June 20th! Everyone is very excited, but not everyone can afford a dress or nice shirt and tie/tuxedo. We have had several dresses donated, that we are so GRATEFUL for, but we are still in need of nice shirts and ties or even tuxedos (we would be grateful for any style that may be just hanging in your closet collecting dust)! If anyone is able to donate some, we are in need of a variety of sizes. I know that the individuals that we support would be forever grateful to be able to dress up and feel like a king/queen for a day! Thank you so much in advance!
