🌲🚌 Point of Discovery School takes on the Northwoods!
Our students are having an incredible hands-on science adventure at Trees For Tomorrow! Skills That were worked on includ:
Radio Telemetry – Stepping into the shoes of wildlife researchers to track animals using triangulation.
Deer Impact & Forest Lifecycles – Studying how Wisconsin’s deer populations shape regenerating forests.
Skulls, Skins, & Bones – Examining real artifacts to discover how wildlife adapts to survive.
Ambassador Animals – Wrapping up the day with a live wildlife encounter!
We love seeing our students work hard, collaborate, and gain a deeper appreciation for the natural world! 💚

Our 7th and 8th graders had a great time on the fall camping trip to Wildcat Mountain State Park. Students created friendships and collaborated during team building activities, outdoor living skills and canoeing on the Kickapoo River. Our tradition of beginning the year with an overnight experience sets a strong foundation for our work together throughout the year!

Our last day in Italy was in Rome, and it was a busy one! We did a walking tour to see the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and the Piazza Navona— all before lunch! We braved the afternoon Roman sun to see the Colosseum and Roman forum before a delicious pizza dinner. Caio Caio for now, Italy!
