Sheri Bunyan, Joelle Mizgalski and Tiffany Firkus are currently representing UWSP the 2026 Physical Therapy Education Leadership Conference, hosted by APTA Academy of Education in Washington, D.C. This conference that unites leaders, faculty, clinicians, researchers and educators from across the profession to exchange ideas, explore innovation and advance excellence in physical therapy education.

Sheri and Tiffany were honored to present "Reframing Applicant Selection Beyond Idealized Criteria: A Tiered Model for DPT Admissions." This showcased our program’s innovative admissions approach, which looks beyond grades to assess the academic, professional and interpersonal qualities that contribute to student success.
