Environmental Educators and Naturalists Association-UWSP

Environmental Educators and Naturalists Association-UWSP EENA (Environmental Educators and Naturalists Assocation) is a UWSP organization dedicated to educat Students come from all areas of study.

The Environmental Educators and Naturalists Association (EENA) is a student organization which serves student interested in educating on the natural world. Environmental education, wildlife education, K-12 education, and any other majors are welcome to join. EENA aims to provide sources for career development through volunteer experiences, professional networking and development as well as updates

in the field of environmental education. EENA is a student chapter of the National Association for Interpretation (NAI) and works closely with them, including sending a group of students to attend their conferences each year. The Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education (WAEE) is another organization which we work closely with, including implementing an activity at the annual Winter Workshop. EENA is often contacted by local community organizations to bring environmental education opportunities to both youth and adults. EENA hopes to send its members into the world more prepared for what lies ahead in our environmental future and confident to face the tasks before us.

Bryn Lottig, adventure educator and author, will share how we can use outdoor and environmental education as a medium to develop social and emotional skills in learners of all ages from 4- 6 p.m. Saturday February 14 at Central Wisconsin Environmental Station in Amherst Junction. Her best selling book, No Child Left Inside will be available for purchase.
